About
I’m a Project Engineer at the Image Guided Robotic Systems Lab, a group within the Healthcare Technology Innovation Centre, at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M), where I develop computational algorithms for surgical navigation systems. My work focuses on camera calibration, pose estimation, and geometric optimization for precision medical robotics.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering at SSN College of Engineering, with an Honors degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. During summer 2024, I was a Mitacs Globalink Research Intern at the University of Alberta, working with Dr. Sunil Kalmady Vasu and Dr. Russ Greiner on generative models for ECG synthesis.
My undergraduate research focused on natural language processing systems for healthcare, particularly for low-resource Indian languages. My current work has shifted toward applying rigorous mathematical methods to precision engineering problems. I’m particularly interested in multiple view geometry, geometric computer vision, nonlinear optimization, inverse problems, numerical methods, and computational precision medicine.
